Representatives of ARDC attended the validation workshop on Sustainable Rice Platform’s 5- Year Roadmap Development for Cambodia which co-organized by the General Directorate of Agriculture (GDA) of the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries, Cambodia Rice Federation (CRF), and the Sustainable Rice Platform (SRP). This workshop was held in Phnom Penh Hotel on December 1, 2022. ARDC will work to make SRP more sustainable, beyond production only criteria, it should have commitments to sustainable/regenerative agriculture practices, such as rice-fish systems. The whole SRP paradigm must be made much more sustainable to reflect ecological agriculture or agro-ecology principles.
